Wombourne High School

VIVALDA’s Hull branch played a pivotal role in the delivery of Wombourne High School’s striking new STEM block — a landmark £18.5 million development designed to provide students with exceptional, future-ready learning environments. The contemporary facility features high-performance cladding solutions from three of our key suppliers: James Hardie, EQUITONE and Rockpanel.

Working in partnership with subcontractor Reds10, VIVALDA Hull supplied more than 2,200m² of cladding to bring the architectural vision to life. The façade showcases a refined palette of blue, grey and white, combining Hardie® Panel Arctic White with a bespoke RAL colour developed specifically for the project. Bold accents were introduced through a mix of EQUITONE Pictura panels in Regency, Navy and Sky Blue, complemented by Rockpanel Ultramarine for added visual impact. The team also supplied SFS/Nvelope framing and carried out precision cutting and drilling of panels for riveted installation.

The new block accommodates specialist teaching spaces for Design & Technology, Science, Food, Music and Computing. Featuring state-of-the-art science laboratories and advanced equipment, the building has been designed to inspire learning and support student achievement for generations to come.
